We run and support a variety of events and activities for local communities every summer.
All events are free to attend, although some have limited spaces and must be reserved in advance.
Events are open to all ages and abilities, unless otherwise stated. Children must always be supervised by an adult.
Some events are delivered by our partners, with funding support from our Summer Activity Grants scheme.

Active families events
Our ‘active families’ events give families a chance to enjoy sports and activities together. They are fun-filled sessions of games, fitness and discovery with something for everybody, regardless of age or ability. These events are free and there is no need to book.
There are structured activities including archery, boulder climbing, dance, football, golf, orienteering, table tennis and more. And in the family fun zone you can grab equipment such as a skipping rope or hula hoop.
There will also be an activity challenge with prizes to be won, and we’ll be available to share helpful information about local ways to stay active all year round.
Bring comfortable clothing and shoes, plenty of drinks and snacks, and a picnic blanket to relax on in the sun!
